Measurement You Can Trust: KPI & Metrics Redesigned

This release marks our most ambitious update yet for how you define, track, and interact with your most critical metrics. We've focused on delivering an absolutely rock-solid foundation for data entry, accuracy, and real-time insights, ensuring your KPIs truly reflect reality.

• Introducing Planned Breaks for KPIs: Now you can account for holidays, seasonal closures, maintenance, or planned PTO directly within your metric tracking. Our new universal "Excluded Period" model ensures that charts, sparklines, widgets, and even Tavi's insights intelligently treat these windows as intentional gaps, not missed data, giving you a truer picture of performance.
• Real-time KPI Recalculation: No more waiting! When the underlying data for a linked metric changes, your dependent KPIs will now recompute immediately, providing up-to-the-minute updates and insights.
• Clearer Chart Visualizations: We've eliminated instances where charts might appear blank or collapsed. Now, every chart widget guarantees a visible canvas, and we've added smart hints for sparse data, ensuring you always see meaningful information. Targets will only display when there's sufficient data, preventing misleading visuals.
• Intuitive Data Entry & Assignment: Entering and managing your metric data is now more reliable and user-friendly. Values save instantly when you switch tabs, our new Quarterly view makes long-term tracking a breeze, and sticky labels keep your place as you scroll. Assigning owners and teams to metrics now auto-saves your changes and displays current assignments clearly.
• Enhanced KPI Freshness & Reliability: We've introduced a "Stale" performance hint on KPI details when the calculated value might not reflect recent underlying data, prompting you to recalculate. Additionally, we've fixed an issue where some KPIs were silently skipped by the scheduler, ensuring all active KPIs now run on time.

Flexible Team Structures: Matrix Org

Organizations today are rarely purely hierarchical. The new Matrix Organizational Structure empowers you to model your team's reality, supporting both primary and dotted-line reporting relationships.

• Primary & Secondary Assignments: Profiles now support both a primary division and secondary divisions or departments, allowing for complex reporting structures.
• Dotted-Line Management: Managers with dotted-line reports can now see relevant check-in visibility, extending insights beyond strict hierarchical lines.
• Enhanced Performance Team View: Leaders without a traditional team ID will now find their "Performance Team" tab accurately reflects their combined team membership, direct reports, and leadership scope.

Enriched Feedback with Guest 360 Improvements

Gathering comprehensive feedback is crucial for growth. We've significantly enhanced the Guest 360 experience, making it easier to manage external raters and streamline the entire evaluation process.

• Subject-Driven External Rater Nomination: You now have the flexibility to allow the subject of a 360 evaluation to nominate their own external raters. Managers can set minimum/maximum counts and deadlines, then approve nominations before invites are sent.
• Streamlined 360 Creation: The "Create 360 Evaluation" process is now a guided 3-step wizard (Details → Raters → Review). This improves the flow, allowing you to manage raters more easily during setup and making draft evaluations more robust.
• Auto-Inclusion of Subject & Manager: When a 360 evaluation is activated, the subject and their manager are now automatically added as raters, ensuring "Provide Feedback" buttons appear without manual setup.
• Auto-Closing Evaluations: 360 evaluations will now automatically move to "Completed" and surface results immediately once the final rater submits. Evaluation owners and admins can easily re-open them if needed.
• Admin Kill Switch for Guest 360: For organizations that prefer not to use external raters, there's a new organizational-level toggle to disable Guest 360 External Raters, hiding the feature and blocking invite functions.
• Improved Invitation Control: You can no longer send external guest invitations for a draft 360 evaluation. Invite options are disabled with a clear explanation until the evaluation is activated.

Smarter AI with Tavi

Tavi continues to evolve, offering more intuitive and intelligent assistance across the platform, from OKR creation to meeting summaries.

• Org-Aware OKR Duplicate Intelligence: When Tavi suggests new OKRs, it now considers your entire organization's active OKRs, not just your personal view. It intelligently flags potential duplicates or overlaps, helping you create truly unique and impactful objectives.
• Enhanced OKR Studio Controls: Our OKR Studio now gives you even finer control. Easily lock individual Key Results across re-rolls, create multiple objectives in a batch, and quickly filter to your newly created OKRs. You can also pick a specific number of KRs per objective and receive expert coaching aligned with best practices.
• Organizational Identity for Tavi: A new "Strategy & Identity" tab in Organization Settings allows you to store your mission, vision, core values, and north-star metric. Tavi will now use this foundational information to ground its generated objectives, ensuring alignment with your organization's core purpose.
• Improved Meeting Participation Indicators: See at a glance who is truly "in the room" before starting Tavi. Participant avatars on the meeting detail page now show a green ring and dot when that person has the meeting open in their browser.
• Tavi Recording Recovery: Your valuable meeting recordings are now safer than ever. Captured audio is mirrored to local browser storage, so if your browser crashes or your OS swaps, a "Restore & Upload" banner will appear on your next page load, helping you recover your in-flight Tavi recording.
• Reliable Tavi Start Notifications: All participants now receive real-time toast and browser notifications when Tavi begins listening in a meeting, ensuring everyone is aware of the AI capture.

New Integrations: QuickBooks Online Connector

We're expanding our ecosystem of integrations, starting with a robust connector for QuickBooks Online, providing deeper financial insights within Elairo.

• QuickBooks Online Connector Foundation: This release lays the groundwork for seamless integration with QuickBooks Online, bringing real-time external data into your Elairo platform.
• Change Data Capture (CDC) Pre-check: Our connector now queries QuickBooks' CDC endpoint before every refresh. This means we only re-fetch reports when entities actually changed, optimizing performance and data accuracy.
• Hourly Sync & Revoke-on-Disconnect: An hourly sweep ensures active QuickBooks connections are always up-to-date, and connections are automatically revoked if disconnected, maintaining data security.
• Intuit Error Observability: For easier troubleshooting, we now capture the intuit_tid on every QuickBooks API call and log any API errors to a queryable integration_error_log, which platform admins can share directly with Intuit support.

Streamlined Workflows & Polish

We've made numerous improvements to existing features, focusing on making your daily tasks smoother and more efficient.

• Inline Goals & Plans in 1:1s: Managers can now update goal progress, status, and development plan status directly within the 1:1 meeting experience, linking action items and auto-logging progress notes.
• Interactive Meeting Agendas: Get more control over your meeting flow with drag-and-drop reordering for agenda sections and individual items. Interactive duration chips and a running total help you keep your meetings on track.
• Image Optimization: All image uploads across the platform (covers, logos, avatars, rich-text images) now benefit from client-side WebP downscaling and EXIF stripping, leading to faster uploads and a raised 25MB file size limit.
• Bug Report Status Notifications: Stay informed! When an Elairo admin updates your bug report, you'll now receive an in-app notification and email, including any notes, and a direct link to the bug details.
• Refined OKR Displays: OKR rows now feature a colored left status stripe, dates, assignee, and status badges that stay together at narrow widths. Key Results also show a color-coded "Type Pill" (e.g., Percent, Currency, Count), making it easier to differentiate at a glance.
• Milestone Celebrations: Get a burst of confetti and a system comment when a Key Result update crosses a quarter-threshold (25/50/75/100%), celebrating progress towards your goals!
• Org Chart Clarity: You can now toggle off department and team labels on Org Chart cards for a cleaner, denser layout, with your preference saved for future sessions.
• Reopen Team Health Surveys: Managers can now easily reopen accidentally closed Team Health surveys, preventing the need to create duplicates.
• Improved Meeting Notes Emails: The assignee and task badge for action items in meeting notes emails now render as a single line, fixing a wrapping bug in Gmail.

Reliability & Performance

Under the hood, we continue to make significant investments in the platform's stability, speed, and overall user experience.

• Elairo Legal Documents now Public: Our active EULA, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and DPA are now published directly to docs.elairo.io, providing stable, public URLs for compliance and partnerships.
• Smoother Welcome Tour: The guided Welcome tour will no longer re-trigger for users who have already completed it, ensuring a consistent onboarding experience.
• Tasks Board Persistence Fixed: The "My Tasks" quick filter on the Tasks board no longer auto-persists, and filter pills now correctly toggle, resolving an issue where the board could appear stuck for some users.
• Help & Support Panel Layout: The Help & Support panel now scrolls correctly on shorter viewports, preventing overlap between the Tavi chat and Quick Actions.
• Instant Dashboard Updates: Editing a meeting's details, date, or time now updates the "Meetings This Week" dashboard card immediately.
• Check-in Reminders Smarter: Pre-deadline check-in reminders will now wisely skip users who have already submitted their check-in for the current period.
